The Enneagram!

When I first discovered astrology, I was convinced that I had before me a system that could map our orientation in life like no other. I couldn't understand why it wasn't required learning in my masters program or why every therapist didn't pursue some understanding of it. But it didn't matter, I had what I knew was the fastest way into the lives of the people I met and that no system could match it. And then, I discovered the Enneagram!

Layers of understanding even beyond the chart started developing and I had the same excitement I had when I discovered astrology. Now I really had a head start into understanding myself and those around me that was unlike anything I knew before.

That's why I'm so excited to bring you the Enneagram part of this site and to introduce you to Robert Tallon who will guide you on your journey.  So sit back and watch us grow right along with you! ~Mark

I’m so happy to host the 12house Enneagram column. It is an honor and a privilege to be affiliated with 12house and to have the opportunity to introduce readers to the Enneagram and to help guide more experienced Enneagram enthusiasts in their exploration of this amazing system. I have been a spiritual seeker for as long as I can remember—starting at the age of ten, starring into the bathroom mirror behind closed doors, asking the image in the glass, “Who am I?” Through prayer, mediation, religion, astrology, kabala, and the enneagram, I’ve been searching for the answer.

This column will explore the question: “Who am I?” each month. More specifically The Enneagram Column will examine who the “I” in “Who am I” is in relationship to others. We will discover what makes each personality tick, and how each personality relates to others. We’ll ask, “What personality types best appreciate my gifts and understand my struggles and challenges?” “What personality types resonate with my values, world view, sense of humor, tastes and sensitivities?”

I have ambitious goals for this column: to help readers become more aware, more fulfilled, and more able attract and nurture the ideal relationship. Hey, why not shoot high? I believe that the Enneagram is a toll that can help achieve those goals.
